Happy Mid Year Mama!

LOL! Is this even a thing? 👀 Or is "Quarter 3", the new name for June? I've usually referenced June as "the first half of year". Well, at least up until me and the family decided to do something new. 😉

So annually, around Christmas my family and I take holiday pictures and mail the greeting cards to our beloved family and friends. Yep. Every year we dress up in color coordinated outfits to create our memories.

Well...

This year, Jeremy and I wanted to check in before December. December is a long way to go, Right?! We scheduled a Spring photography session, got coordinated outfits and we sent our "Mid-Year Memories" greeting cards to our family and friends!

Here are my 3 reasons on why you should take Mid Year Family Portraits:

1) We change often. So, a lot can happen in 6 months! Y'all know these kids be growing longer than Pinocchio's nose! You take one blink and they are inches taller, their personalities are changing, and they might be having a milestone birthday (like my Stank, he turned 5 this year!), maybe one kid is headed to college, maybe you're about to become an empty nester or you might be celebrating something special yourself. Maybe you're going with a new home aesthetic and you're ready to change up the color schemes on your picture wall.

2) Keep your loved ones close. I have always enjoyed receiving greeting cards and reading the personalized messages. It's one of my most favorite things to receive in the mail! It's a great way to keep your family and friends updated and included. My family always sends a text or a message via social media saying, "I received my beautiful card!" or something like "Please keep them coming!"

3) Family Day Fun! It's a perfect opportunity for a family day out. Schedules can be tricky at times. Maybe one parent is working, maybe the kids have soccer games or maybe you just enjoy spending the weekend at home. Here's my take: you schedule the photo session, and you're already dressed, so it's a great opportunity to explore the city, or find a great restaurant or an ice cream parlor. I like to schedule the photo sessions a little distance from home, and my best reason for scheduling a session is because I can't get enough of spending time with my guys and doing anything with them is special!

If you're on the fence about booking a family photography session, I hope this blog seals the deal for you. Check out our favorite shot and our greeting card message.

💡Mama Tip: Book the family session and enjoy a day of creating NEW memories!

Here's a little good news:

Isaiah 43:19 NIV 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

P.S. Vacation blog loading! Stay tuned! 😉

With Pace & Grace,

Whit
