Follow the light.

So, I recently rearranged a few things in my garage. I moved the shoe rack closer to the garage door entrance as a reminder to take my shoes off before entering the house.

However, moving the shoe rack closer to the door makes the light switch in the garage difficult to access. Now, when we need to turn on the garage light it takes a ‘little more’ effort.

Picture this: You’re sticking your hand through the shoe rack, fumbling around and pushing through shoes just to get to the light and garage switches.

Well, on this particular morning (more like every morning), I didn't want to wiggle my hand through the shoe rack to access the switches.

I proceeded to exit the house through the garage, closed the door to the house, and I was met with darkness.

I couldn't see anything!

As soon as I entered darkness, I heard a whisper say, "Follow the light." Instantly, I turned my head to the direction of the garage switch, and there it was…A glowing, tiny, green light on the garage switch. Without a second thought, my hand immediately went to the tiny green glow.

I pressed it and the garage opened!

Bye-Bye darkness, hello LIGHT!

The dilemma was getting around the shoe rack to get to both switches, and who wants to push through shoes in the morning when you’re rushing, and anxious because you don't want to be late for work. I just wanted to get to my car and leave for work. That’s it!

My encounter reminded me that even in darkness or even at my most darkest moments:

just follow the LIGHT.

Who knew that the light source (light switch) was conneted to the SOURCE.

Mama Tip: It's simple Mamas, follow the light!

Scripture reference: Psalm 119:105 KJV -  Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Here’s to the first of many blog posts, and to following the light! 💡🙏🏾

This is good! Sometimes in life we overcomplicate God and the things of God. It’s refreshing when He uses instances like this to bring us back into His fullness that we shall have no lack, and all of our needs are supplied!

This was a great read, can’t wait to read more! 💜
