I felt a heavy nudge from the Lord on this…but how’d I get here?
Mama, I must admit! Last week was hard. I mean hard, hard. We just started kindergarten, at a new school. New classroom, new classmates, new teachers and more learning! It came too fast! I mean time slow down already!
Preparation was a lot and it doesn’t stop! We had to make sure doctor appointments were in place, we had to actually get to those appointments, we needed orders for medical management of trach and orders to get feeding. We had to present a presentation for medical education for the faculty and staff. We had to make sure the emergency bag is ready and equipped with all supplies. We had to ensure we were set for the first day so we could communicate with all the classmates using Jeremiah’s alternative augmentative communication device (AAC aka talker). We had to program the AAC device with new names. Staying on top of Jeremiah’s AAC device programming is a big deal, it’s how he communicate.
AND making sure we’ve read the IEP (Individualized Education Program) over and over again.
I think you get my drift Mama! It was a week, but we made!🙌🏾
As the week progressed, God began to download scriptures for me to pray through and pray over Jeremiah. The instruction was extended and got me to the blog.
If you’re like me and experiencing transitional moments with your kiddos, new transitions can be tough but rewarding.
Maybe you’re the teacher getting the new students, maybe you’re the mama who’s sending your toddler to daycare for the first time, maybe you’re the mama who’s sending your college freshman off to school, maybe you’re Granny, Nana or GiGi, maybe you’re the Godmommy who’s the one call that’s all, or maybe you’re the auntie mama and y’all know auntie don’t play about her niece or nephew - where ever you are on this journey his grace and mercies are there.

God literally had me in the book of Deut 28: 1-14 for my family and I on yesterday before I read your blog..WOW!, so yes Deut. 28:13 is holding heavy weight for me!
